Get involved in uncovering Creek-side Life in 19th century Faversham

Saturday 24^th May – Sunday 1^st June, from 10am

The Faversham Creek Trust, Kent Archaeological Society and MOLA will be undertaking a 9-day community archaeological investigation of the Front Brents.

All are welcome – come along and find out how to get started on an archaeological dig!

The open land adjacent to The Albion Taverna, a 19^th century pub, was formerly the site of tenement buildings along both Front Brents and Church Road. The community investigation running throughout the Faversham Society’s Open Faversham Festival from Saturday 24^th May – Sunday 1^st June will seek to uncover the foundations of these properties and reveal evidence of the occupants who once called them home.
