Get involved in uncovering Creek-side Life in 19th century Faversham

Saturday 24th May – Sunday 1st June, from 10am

The Faversham Creek Trust, Kent Archaeological Society and MOLA will be undertaking a 9-day community archaeological investigation of the Front Brents.

All are welcome – come along and find out how to get started on an archaeological dig!

The open land adjacent to The Albion Taverna, a 19th century pub, was formerly the site of tenement buildings along both Front Brents and Church Road. The community investigation running throughout the Faversham Society’s Open Faversham Festival from Saturday 24th May – Sunday 1st June will seek to uncover the foundations of these properties and reveal evidence of the occupants who once called them home.
