Our members are very important to us. With your support, we are able to provide a voice to promote and celebrate Faversham’s maritime heritage. In return, members receive our newsletter and invitations to member-only events. Occasionally, we survey our members to get feedback – you can read the results of our 2024 members survey here. Become a Volunteer

Help us to organise and deliver our events throughout the year, help us with our Heritage & Educational projects and with managing our building.  We are developing a full calendar of events from May to October and we depend on member volunteers for the success of these events.

Donate

Your donations help us offer funding to start up enterprises fostering traditional boat building skills and other educational maritime endeavours which we house in our Purifier Building. 

You also help us support Cinque Ports Rowing, a community enterprise that builds St Ayles skiffs for people of all ages and abilities – 12 to 82 – to row on our local Creek.

We also fund the testing of water quality in local chalk streams and dredging to keep our Creek open to waterbourne traffic.
