Claire Elliot, Events Officer at the Town Council, contacted the Trust with a view to holding the Nautical Festival this year, incorporating a pirate theme. Sunday 7th July is the date proposed for the event in between the Thames Barge Match on 15th June and the Swale Barge Match on 10th August. The Trust will be working Claire to support her. Without dredging the festival cannot happen and the Trust will be working closely with the Faversham Creek Navigation company to ensure this is possible.
