On the Creek
Faversham Creek, an ancient waterway, is a vibrant source of boats, history, wildlife and, increasingly, waterbourne leisure activities. The Creek is historically host to the annual Nautical Festival, groups of school children who walk along creek-side sites learning about historic boats, such as Ottor; local wildlife, flora and fauna. Cinque Ports rowing hosts regular rowing practice and an annual Skiffie Fest.
